But f...@Inner West Mum - just wrote you a comment!

But for those rounded edges (if you, like IWM, are inspired) I use Lightroom, which has a 'preset' to change the frame (or some other technical term) of the photo. If you don't have lightroom, you can use picnik.com an online photo editing thing... upload your photo, click on 'create' and there's a frame for rounded edges! I link if I actually do it, and if I remember where the idea came from. I think it is really cool to see a wave of people making the same pattern, or using a fun idea. To me, this seems quite unlike the practice of using copy and paste from other peoples material and pretending it is your own.kbencohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00885068563358776147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6843800747071173653.post-58900288696783427172010-11-20T13:09:08.423+08:002010-11-20T13:09:08.423+08:00I agree one hundred percent. Sometimes I'm inspired by others and will consciously (or unconsciously, who can keep track) do something like. Of course if someone's DIY directly inspires me I link, like you. btw linky dink, I just adore this! I promise to link if I use it... hehe!
But say I see someone in a mustard scarf and think it looks great, so I make myself my own mustard scarf, should I credit them? Well, it's just a mustard scarf for heaven's sake!
Oh, and you are fabulous as well as original. Your last line above is perfect!Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03156106727490224625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6843800747071173653.post-45897714021428662412010-11-20T09:38:02.593+08:002010-11-20T09:38:02.593+08:00Speaking of copying/inspiration, how do you do the...Speaking of copying/inspiration, how do you do the rounded edges on your photos?? I love them! Would it be copying if I did it in my blog or would I have been inspired by your lovely photographs? I hope it would be called inspiration...if you let me in on your secret.

I love your blog and I hope mine will be this good one day...soon!
xxRAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6843800747071173653.post-1618940809332053782010-11-20T04:29:23.568+08:002010-11-20T04:29:23.568+08:00Agreed Franca!

I know I'be be well pissed off if someone nicked a whole post of mine! Not that that's likely to happen ever, because I don't think my stuff is particularly nickable, but I sympathise.Francahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05495421838862275042noreply@blogger.com
